How to provide information for wheel speed bracket design¶
For many customers the situation is that wheel speed sensor brackets are missing. This is where we can help you by desigining brackets for the car model. We just need some preliminary info to kick off the design work.
For wheel speed sensors it is required to have a bracket for the sensors and a ring around diff outdrive to place the magnets. For both of these parts some information is required.
Outdrive magnet ring¶
Measurements needed:
- Outdrive diameter
- Driveshaft pin length
- Driveshaft pin diameter
Photos needed:
- Outdrive from side of the car to see the outdrive shape and clearance to other parts
- Outdrive from front/rear to see the alignment to potential sensor location
Sensor bracket¶
Measurements needed:
- Distance from screw hole to outdrive
- Screw size to fix the sensor
Photos needed:
- Potential places where sensor can be fixed
